The Vampires Dove and Amelia

Two more vampires have been finished. I just finished the Vampire Dove this morning.

The other day I finished Amelia. This is how the faces look before embroidery.

 Now I have one more to do and then I am going to frame them all in painted hoops. if they look OK I'm going to list them on Etsy for around $30 (American). I have no idea if anyone will be interested. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

A camping weekend It was our friend Jesse's birthday so we went camping with him on Saturday night. I made the campfire with the help of Dustin and Palle. I was proud to get it lit with one match :) Getting the camper trailers in on the soft sand of the beach was a challenge this time. The fisherman were not very successful. I am a terrible gardener But I can sure grow these They grow too big though. I have to remember to pick them before they get too big. I am going to cook all these big ones up and puree them up and freeze them for winter soups. These yellow zucchini are growing fast too. We like them marinated in olive oil and garlic and then char grilled on the BBQ. I call the ruby chard 'Ruby spinach' and the white one 'Dustin spinach'. I know it is not spinach but the kids like that it is named after them and they like spinach. Spinach...
